Her personal best jump before her ban was 6.93 metres, achieved in July 2007
in Bad Langensalza (and in June 2008), which was the South African record for the event.
In July 2009 she set a Turkish record of 6.87 metres.
In 2012 at the London Olympics she failed a drugs test and
was banned for two years, after testing positive for testosterone.
She returned to competition in 2015
