Pam Marshall is pictured above (lane 1) during the final of the 100m at the 1987 World Championships in Rome.
She finished in 8th place with the medals going to Silke Gladisch-Moller (lane 6), Heike Daute-Drechsler (lane 4)
& Merlene Ottey (lane 5). Marshall fared better in the final of the 200m, finishing just outside the medals
in 4th place whilst in the 4x100m relay she anchored the American team to Gold.
