Oleksiy is pictured above during the final of the mens Long Jump at
the 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg. Lukashevych won the
bronze behind Italy's Andrew Howe and Great Britain's Greg Rutherford.
Interestingly Lukashevych's jump of 8.12m was 4cm longer than his gold
medal winning performance of four years previously in Munich. 10th. August 2006.

Olexey Lukashevych is pictured above during the final of the men's Long Jump at
the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. Lukashevych, the 2002 European
champion, finished just outside the medals in 4th place, his jump of
8.25m just 5cm behind the bronze medalist Dwight Phillips.
