Michael Clarke batting for Australia at Edgbaston during the 3rd Ashes Test of 2015, in England.
It was a torrid series for the great Australia captain who was unable to find his form and at the end
of the 4th Test at Trent Bridge announced his resignation (photo above in white cap).

The first 'Ashes' Test match of the 2013 Summer series in England began with a very competitive game at Trent Bridge.
England won on the fifth day by just 14 runs in a match that swung both ways throughout the contest.
On day four Australia's captain Michael Clarke was given out by the umpire but chose to ask for a review of the decision.
Two days earlier Stuart Broad had declined "to walk" after he was caught at first slip, via a deflection off wicket-keeper
Brad Haddin's gloves, and thus the tone was set for a 'let the technology decide the verdict'. The technology gave Michael
out (as he knew he was) and the England team en masse showed what they thought of Clarke as George Herringshaw's
image shows in all its gory detail.
The pictures above show Michael Clarke in full flow during his classy innings of 103 not out in Australia's
2nd innings of the 3rd Test against England at Edgbaston in the summer of 2009. Clarke's efforts in
partnership with Marcus North - the pair added a vital 185 runs for the 5th wicket after Australia
were looking in a spot of bother at 161-4 - helped ensure that the rain affected match finished in a draw.
