Ian Bell batting for England in the 3rd Ashes Test at his County ground of Edgbaston, in Birmingham.
Following some poor performances with the bat, he came good with innings of 53 and 65 n.o. to help
England to an 8 wickets victory. The following week at Trent Bridge England regained the Ashes.
The 50s were his 44th and 45th for his country.

Ian Bell in action during the 1st 'Ashes' Test Match of 2013 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. The main image was taken
during Ian's first innings (25) but the other three during his Test Century (109) on the third and fourth days.
It was Ian's eighteenth Test Century and during the match he passed 6,000 Test runs. The inset image in the bottom
corner shows an advert titled "For England" - as he celebrates his hundred. England won a thrilling match by just 14
runs on the fifth day and final day and were much indebted to Bell for his superb century. Below is a younger Ian Bell

The main photo above shows Ian Bell during his fine knock of 65 in England's 2nd innings of the
3rd Test against Australia at Old Trafford, Manchester in August 2005. The match was to finish
in a thrilling draw with Australia's last wicket pair of Brett Lee and Glenn McGrath batting for
their lives to see out the last 24 balls. England won the next Test at Trent Bridge and a draw in
the final Test at The Oval was enough to see them win the Ashes for the first time in 18 years.
