(Aamir is pictured above saluting the crowd after scoring a superb double century against England at Old Trafford, Manchester in July 1992. What made Sohail's innings (he was finally out for 205) all the more impressive was the fact that it was just his 3rd Test match. The match - not helped by the good old English weather wiping out the entire second day - petered out into a draw but Pakistan went on to win the 5 match series 2-1. Aamir scored 413 runs in the 5 Tests at an average of 51.63, a terrific return for his first Test match series.)
