Harry Kewell is pictured above during the 1:1 draw against Ghana at
the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
It was a disappointing match for
Kewell who was red carded in just the 24th minute (see inset photo)
after it was adjudged that he had handled Jonathan Mensah's goal bound
shot. Asamoah Gyan scored
the resulting spot kick to cancel out Brett
Holman's early strike for the Socceroos and that was how the
score would
remain.
(On 26 March 2014, Kewell announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 35)
