After retiring Nicky studied for a part-time degree in Sports Rehabilitation from the
University of Salford. He completed a second degree at the University of Salford in
2008, this time in Physiotherapy. He worked for several clubs as their physio,
including Man City, Barrow, Bury, Hyde United and Maccesfield.
