After struggling to break into the Arsenal side he signed for Brighton & Hove Albion
on loan, a move which became permanent in 1993 - on a free transfer.
He made 50 league appearances for 'The Seagulls' between 1993/94 and 1994/95
before being forced into retirement due to a serious knee injury he sustained.
