Steve Livingstone joined Chelsea from Blackburn Rovers in March 1993 for a fee of £300, 000.
It proved to be a very short-lived stay at Stamford Bridge for the big striker and he moved on to
Grimsby Town in October 1993 for £140 000. Livingstone is pictured above during his only
appearance in a Chelsea shirt - a 3-0 defeat to Manchester United when he came on as a sub.
Steve played 289 League Games for Grimsby and spent the ten with the "Mariners" helping
them to win promotion out of the Second Division via the play-offs in 1998, as well as the
Football League Trophy title, again in 1998. He joined Carlisle United in 2003 following
a short loan spell, before retiring due to injury in January 2004.
