After retiring from football Andy Linighan set up a plumbing business,
Linighan Plumbing Services in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. It did well,
not least because of Linighan's tongue-in-cheek marketing. Apparently his van was
emblazoned with the slogan: Andy Linighan - Average Footballer, Excellent Plumber.
