Paul Wilkinson arrived at Goodison in March 1985, some four months after impressing Howard Kendall
with his match-winning league cup performance against the Blues whilst playing for Grimsby. Kendall
paid out £250, 000 for the big striker but he was never really able to establish himself as a first team
regular and moved on to Nottingham Forest in March 1987 for £200, 000. Paul is pictured above during
the 2-0 win against Southampton on 18/10/1986.
