The pictures show John Mensah during the 1:1 draw against Uruguay at
the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Asamoah Gyan missed a glorious
chance to win it for Ghana when he failed to convert a last minute
penalty and it was the South Americans who would prevail in the penalty
shoot-out. It had, though, been a fine tournament for the Ghanaians who
had come so very close to becoming the first African nation to reach a
World Cup semi-final. |
