He was after retiring from playing he worked as an assistant coach for SoccerPlus Connecticut,
a women's team in the WPSL in America.
He also worked at Quinnipiac University as an assistant coach for the soccer team for six years.
He then set up his own soccer training and college recruiting service, www.cbwsoccerelite.com
assisting American and international student-athletes with college placement.
Chris died on 24th July 2023 aged 49. The same day as Trevor Francis (69).
