Marco BALLOTTA - Lazio - UEFA Champions League 2007/08

La foto qui sopra mostra il calciatore SS Lazio Marco Ballotta durante la UEFA

Champions League 2007/08 partita contro la Real Madrid il 3 Ottobre 2007.

Marco Ballotta set a new age record for The Champions League when he

played against Olympiacos aged 43.

"I will continue to work hard day after day as I have done during my whole career,"

said Ballotta the day before the match who had beat Dino Zoff’s record as the oldest

player to compete in Serie A last season, continued.

“For many people, when I make a good save it's just because of my experience - when

I make a mistake it's because I'm too old. I just focus on training hard to ensure

I am fully ready whenever I'm called to play."
