He was the only player to have played 100 games for each of the steel city rivals Sheffield United
and Sheffield Wednesday. He was also well known for his long throw.
At the start of the 2013/14 season on 25 July 2013, Bromby announced his retirement
due to his knee injury and he officially joined the Leeds academy full-time as the clubs
Under 16's coach.
