He retired from the game in 1984 at the age of 32,
having already started to feel the effects of Parkinson's disease.
Ray Kennedy published his autobiography "Ray of Hope" in 1993,
co-authored by Dr. Andrew Lees who at that time treated Ray for
his illness. Ray died on Tuesday November 30th 2021 aged 70.
