Peter Southey is pictured above during his solitary league appearance
for Spurs - a 2-1 win against Brighton & Hove Albion on 8th September 1979.
He played in a few friendly fixtures thereafter and
seemed ready to
challenge for a regular first team spot when he was tragically diagnosed
with leukaemia.
Sadly Peter passed away in December 1983 at just 21 years of age.
