In only his second appearance at the U.S. Open Billy Horschel finished a very creditable fourth
at Merion, where he began the third day as joint leader with Phil Mickelson and went into the final round just
two off the lead. He is pictured here at the British Open playing his first round of 74. A poor second round
meant he failed to make the cut.
Earlier in the year he won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans by one stroke with a 268 twenty under par
and won $1,188,000. It was his first P.G.A. Tour win.
2013 U.S.Open Golf Championship. Merion Golf Club, Pennsylvania. June 13 -16th.
