Playing in the P.G.A. for just the third time Kevin Steelman improved his previous best finish by fifty
places, as he took joint 12th place in the 2013 event. Earlier in the season he had won his first P.G.A. Tour event
when he beat Boo Weekley, by two strokes, at the Tampa Bay Championship and so enjoyed his best season thus
far as a professional golfer. He is pictured here at the British Open (on the 15th fairway) during his second round.
