The montage above records one of the most amazing moments
in golf history. Tom Watson winning the Open Championship
at the age of 59. But he did not.
26 years after winning his last Major, Tom lost the six hole
play-off to fellow American Stewart Cink by six shot. Age
caught up with Tom after four long and tiring days. Tied for
second place after Thursday's first round, Watson lead the
tournament for most of the next three days and ended the
fourth round two under with Cink. Then the play-off,pictured
above.
