John Palmer's rugby career.



John Palmer hung up his boots after the Bath v Leicester Cup Final

on 29th April 1989 following an illustrious Bath RUFC playing career.

 

His debut game was on  9th April 1975 v Northampton.

He played 335 1st XV games, scoring 81 tries, making 223 conversions,

9 drop goals, 182 penalties and scoring 1343 points.

1986 JOHN PLAYER CUP WINNER AS CAPTAIN.

He appeared 4 times for the Barbarians scoring 2 tries

and 24 games for Somerset.
