Andy Irvine Won 3 Britsh Lions Caps in 1980 v South
Africa.

In December 81 (aged 30) as captain, Andy
scored 17 pts in Scotland's 24-15 win over
Australia.

In March 82  Andy Irvine led Scotland to their first
win in Cardiff for 20 years (34-18). This was
also Wales' first Championship defeat in Cardiff
for 27 games.

In July 82 Andy led Scotland to their first ever win
in Australia (in Brisbane, won 12-7).
