most-capped hooker and joint most-capped
Scottish player with Jim Renwick.
Missed only 2 of 54 internationals between
1978 and 1987.

Member of 1984 Scottish Grand Slam team.

In 1983 Colin toured with British Lions to New
Zealand, but as captain Ciaran Fitzgerald was
also a hooker, Deans played in none of the 4
Tests, all of which the All-Blacks won.
