where she reached the last sixteen - as she had done in 1983, at The French Open.
She was ranked 7th in the World in 1983. She won the Italian Open at age sixteen.
In 1986 she won the French Open women's doubles with Marin Navratilova, but was forced
to retire the following year. During her career she won a total of five singles titles and seven doubles titles.
