Debbie Ferguson-McKenzie is pictured above (second right) during the final of the 200m
at the 2001 World Athletics Championships. She won the silver medal
behind Marion Jones (830) in a time of 22.52 secs but was later promoted
to the gold medal position when Jones later admitted that she had been
using performance enhancing drugs. Kelli White (855) who finished in 3rd
place was also disqualified for drug offences. |
