World 400m junior champion in 2010, World 400m youth champion in 2011 and runner up
at the World Championships in 2015, Shaunae Miller, at the age of 22, won her first Olympic Gold
medal when she came home first in the women's 400 metres final at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Her winning time of 49.44 (diving across the finish line) was a new personal best.
