Steven Gardiner chases Wayde Van Niekerk and is about to overtake Nathon Allen as the runners
contest the final of the men's 400 metres down the finish straight. In his semi-final Steven set a new
national record for the Bahamas of 43.89. He also ran a 44.75 in winning his heat.
