Alesya Turova is pictured above on her way to victory in the 3,000m Steeplechase at the 
2006 Grand Prix Final in Stuttgart. A week later when representing Europe in the World Cup, 
Turova again finished in first place in the Steeplechase.
 It completed a memorable few weeks for the Belarussian who in August had become European champion.
