2006 European Championships in Gothenburg. Vania (1069) won the gold medal
in a time of 49.85 and can be seen in the inset picture crossing the finishing line.
The Russians Tatyana Veshkurova (1638) and Olga Zaytseva (1641) won silver
and bronze respectively.
The other athlete in shot is Ilona Usovich who finished in fifth place.

suspended for two years by the IAAF.
