The pictures above show Perdita (lane 5) crashing to the ground in the final of the
100m Hurdles at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Felicien had gone into the race as the
favourite to add an Olympic Gold to the World Championships Gold she had won a
year earlier but sadly for the Canadian it was not to be.
Tragically for the Russian athlete Irina Shevchenko (lane 6) she was brought down
by Felicien as she fell to the ground.
