Huina XING - China - 2004 Olympic Games 10,000m Champion.

The photo above shows Xing Huina striding towards the line to take the Gold medal in the 10,000m at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. It was an unexpected victory for the 20 year old Chinese women who finished ahead of the much fancied Ethiopians, including the defending champion Derartu Tulu.  Xing's time of 30: 24.36 was also a new PB. The other athlete in shot, Ejegayehu Dibaba, took the silver medal.
