Liu Hong is pictured above shortly after crossing the finishing line in the women's
20km Walk at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Hong produced a
fine performance to finish in 4th place in a new PB time of 1.27.17.
She repeated the result in 2012 at the London Games also finishing 4th.
(1:26.00). Her personal best time was 1:25.46 set in 2012

Liu Hong won medals at the 2009 World Championships (3rd) and the 2011 (2nd)
and won the Asian Games in 2006 and 2010. All in the 20k race walk.
