Xiang was knocked off balance for a fleeting moment and Jason
Richardson was able to snatch victory. Robles was disqualified for
running out of his lane (Merritt in lane seven was too far behind so his
lane 'offence' was of no consequence ) but Liu was robbed of a second
World title. He won the World Championship in 2007. |
