Leonel Suarez is pictured above during the 400m (left hand photo), 110m Hurdles,1500m and Pole Vault disciplines of the
Decathlon at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Suárez produced a terrific performance overall with no less than
five new PBs in his points total of 8527. That was a new Cuban record for the event and saw the 20 year old youngster claim the
bronze medal, just 24 points fewer than the silver medallist Andrei Krauchanka.
