Vítezslav VESELÝ receives his gold medal for winning the men's javelin throw at the 2013 World Athletics
Championships from the World Record holder, his fellow countryman, Jan Zelezny.
The World Record of Jan Železný is 98.48m, set on 25 May 1996, in Jena, Germany.
Vitezslav's personal best at the time of the Championships was 88.34m, thrown in the qualifying rounds of
the 2012 London Olympic Games - where he finished fourth in the final.
