Zuzana Hejnová clears the last hurdle the women's 400m hurdles,
to retain the title she won in Moscow two years earlier. Her time was
the fastest recorded that year for the event. The twenty eight year old's
fastest time was ran in Moscow in 2013 (52.83) and perhaps the double
victory made amends for her Olympic bronze medal in 2012.
She is pictured below celebrating her win after passing the finish line.
However, the 2016 Olympic Games again saw her miss out on the ultimate
gold medal in athletics. (see foot of page)
