Nineteen-year-old Ghirmay Ghebreslassie crosses the finish of the marathon at the 2015
World Championships in Beijing. It was Eritrea's first Gold medal at a World Championship.
He was given the flag as he entered the Stadium and was unsure as he passed the finish line
whether he needed to run another lap. Hence his lack of a celebration.

On 6th. November 2016, Ghirmay won the New York City Marathon,
becoming the youngest male to ever win the race.
