Zersenay TADESE - Eritrea - Sixth in the 10,000m at 2005 World Championships.

 

Zersenay is pictured above (light blue vest) during the final of the men's 10,000m at the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki. Tadese, the bronze medal winner at the previous years Olympic Games, finished in sixth place in a new national record time of 27: 12.82. The medals were won, in order, by Kenenisa Bekele (262), Sileshi Sihine (to Bekele's left) and Moses Mosop (the Kenyan towards the back of the pack).
