Dejene BERHANU - Ethiopia - 5th. in the 5000m at the 2004 Olympic Games.

Dejene is pictured above during the 5000m heats at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. He finished in fifth place in the final in a time of 13: 16.92. Shortly after the Olympic Games, on 26th September, he became the first Ethiopian to win the famous Great North Run, clocking a new course record of 59mins 37secs in the process.
