Alexandra Tavernier, the French record holder with 74.78m when
winning the silver medal at the 2018 European Championships, had
two throw over 73 metres in Doha, but had to settle for 6th place.
Alexanda was at the time the 2019 French champion, as she had been in
2014, 2016, 2017 & 2018.
