The middle and bottom inset pictures above show the closing stage of the
mens 400m final at the 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg. Marc
(375) took the gold medal in a time of 45.02 secs with Russia's
Vladislav Frolov (804) taking silver. Raquil's fellow Frenchman Leslie
Djhone (out of shot) won the bronze medal. Marc then teamed up with
Djhone, Idrissa M'Barke and Naman Keita to win gold for France in the
