The defending European 200 metres Champion, Myriam Soumaré failed to retain her title successfully
in Helsinki where she finished third behind the Ukraine's two representatives.
The picture above shows the finish of the race in Finland. In Barcelona 2010 she ran 22.32 to win the title with a then new French record
and of course reached the 2012 Olympic 200 metres final as pictured at the top of this page.
