Battling to the finish line. Sergey Shubenkov and Pascal Martinot-Lagarde go toe to toe
(or should that be chest to chest) in a battle royal for the European 110m hurdles title in Berlin.
The 26 year old Frenchman just got the verdict, with both timed at 13.17 seconds, thus giving him
his first senior outdoor title. He won the European 60m indoor hurdles title in 2015. Sergey, a year
older at 27, was World 110m champion in 2015 and had won the European title in both 2012
and 2014 as a "Russian".
