Andreas Hofmann pictured during in the final in which his second throw secured him
the silver medal. The previous day Joahnnes Vetter took just one throw to the lead the qualifiers
with 87.39m, but struggled in the final. Andreas himself only had three valid throws of the six
he took. He had improved his personal best to 92.06m earlier in June that year.
