seven, the 1500m, with Schwarzkopf (right of photo) failing by the
narrowest of margins to gain the necessary advantage over her rival for
the silver medal Karin Ruckstuhl (on the left in orange). Lilli's time
of 2: 11.85 earned her 938 points but Ruckstuhl ran a new PB to finish
just 8 hundredths behind, meaning that the 936 points she scored left
her 3 points ahead of Schwarzkopf in the overall points table. |
