Stephane FRANKE - Germany - 1994 & 1998 European 10,000m bronze medals.

Stephane Franke is pictured above at the 1984 Olympic Games in Atlanta

where he finished 9th in the 10,000 metres.


He died in Potsdam, Germany, on 23rd. June  2011, of lymphatic cancer,

within five weeks of being diagnosed with the disease, at the age of 47.
