Laura Muir pictured in her semi-final of the 800m (inset image the finish line
of the final) at the UK Championships. Her PB of 1:58.42 was set in 2019.
However, she set an indoor best in 2021 of 1:58.44. In 2021 did not contest
the 1500m (winner in 2016 & 2015).
As the Olympic Games got closer Laura decided not to run in the 800m but just
the 1500m.
History shows that was a good choice - she won an Olympic silver medal
and improved her UK record of 3:55.22 in the final.
