Adam Gemili captures the European 200 metres title from defending champion
Churandy Martina and 2012 winner Christophe Lamaitre in an equal personal
best time of 19.98 seconds. It was his first gold medal at an important championships,
though weeks earlier he won his first senior medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games coming
second to Jamaica's Kemar Bailey-Cole in the 100 m final in a time of 10.10 seconds.
