The quartet of Chijindu Ujah, Adam Gemili, Danny Talbot and Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake not only beat
the United States (Usain Bolt pulled up for Jamaica) but they set a new European and
British record of 37.47 seconds and won the Gold medals.
They also recorded fastest time in the World in 2017.

In the semi-finals of the men's 100 metres Chijindu failed to qualify for the final
by three hundredths of a second.
